Kylesku Kylesku is on the North West coast of the Highlands in Sutherland. It is 85 miles from Inverness, 33 miles north of Ullapool and 34 miles south of Durness on the North Coast. Kylesku is at the northern point of the Assynt Peninsula renowned for its stunning mountains and sandy beaches An Caladh is set 30 feet up a small hill just 50 yards from the loch shore. This part of North West Sutherland is an area of exceptional geological interest, being one of the country's first Geoparks. Scourie to the north and Lochinver to the south offer shops, banks, garages and restaurants. |

From Inverness Airport follow signs to Inverness |

After the Retail Park on the left (a large Tesco sign is visible) at the next roundabout go right following signs to Ullapool on the A9 |

If coming by car from the South you will be passing by Inverness on the A9 |

At the next roundabout go straight on over the Kessock Bridge |

Follow signs to Ullapool – 55 miles from Inverness – should take an hour from the bridge |

At the Tore roundabout take the A835 to Ullapool – keep following signs for Ullapool On entering Ullapool follow the road to the right after the garage and leave Ullapool on the A835 to The North |

17 miles on, at Ledmore Junction after Elphin turn left onto the A837 signed to Lochinver and Kylesku |

After 8 miles turn right to Kylesku (7 miles) on the A894 |

After going through Newton and Unapool, turn right into Kylesku just after the left turning to Kylesku Lodges and just before Kylesku Bridge. |

An Caladh is the 2nd house on the left, (the 1st after the cattle grid) |
